Drimify review: is it the best quiz maker for branded mini-games and instant wins?

Our verdict

Drimify offers a big catalog of 48 formats, from scratch cards and spin-the-wheel games to sports mini-games, quizzes and surveys, with lead forms, vouchers, scheduling and multilingual versions built in. In our hands-on test it felt dated: the games looked unpolished, design control is limited to two themes, a logo and a few font and button settings, and the AI assistant needed more than 10 minutes and showed several errors before our survey was ready. With paid plans starting at $184 a month for 1,000 participations, and branding removal sold as an extra, it is hard to recommend for most teams.

3.0/5 Best for: instant-win games and simple branded mini-games

Ratings and review counts as shown on G2 and Capterra on October 28, 2026; the big number is the average weighted by review count. Themes summarize points that come up repeatedly in public reviews and are paraphrased. These are user ratings, not our score. Review themes come from Capterra; G2 shows only the rating.

We tested Drimify hands-on on its free plan in October 2026 and recorded the whole session: we built a survey with the AI assistant, then a whack-a-mole game, an American football game, a 3D scratch card with a voucher prize and a scored quiz by hand. Pricing, API, privacy and integration details come from Drimify’s own pricing page, help center and API documentation, and user ratings from G2 and Capterra, all checked October 28, 2026. We compare it with Riddle, Woorise and Qualifio.

What is Drimify?

Drimify is a gamification platform from Drimlike for marketing games, contests and interactive campaigns. Instead of focusing on quizzes, it offers a catalog of ready-made formats that you brand and configure, aimed at marketing, events, HR and training teams. Drimify also sells agency services and fully managed campaigns on top of the self-service platform (source).

Key features

  • 48 formats: 20 mini-games (from 2048 and memory to whack-a-mole and endless runners), 11 instant-win games (scratch cards, slot machine, wheel of fortune, mystery box), 7 experiences (advent calendar, landing page, voting gallery, media contest), 5 sports games and 5 questionnaires (quiz, personality test, product recommendation quiz, music blind test and survey).
  • Lead capture and prizes: A data collection screen with name, email, address, company, opt-in and custom fields, plus prize items such as voucher codes, draws and leaderboards.
  • Multilingual versions: Add languages to one experience and let the browser language decide which one players see; AI translation of missing texts costs AI credits.
  • Scheduling and fraud limits: Activation and deactivation dates, weekly schedules, countdowns, and participation limits per email, IP address or session, with IP and email domain block lists.
  • Publishing: A hosted link with QR code, an iframe and JavaScript embed code, a WordPress plugin, AMP embeds and custom subdomains on paid plans.
  • Integrations: Webhooks to your own API, HubSpot and Salesforce, transactional email through providers such as Brevo, Mailjet or SendGrid, Zapier and Make, JavaScript callbacks and single sign-on (source).

Ease of use and interface

After sign-up, Drimify offers two paths: the AI assistant or the dashboard. The AI wizard asks you to pick a format, set a logo, main color, style and font, describe your project and fill in your name and an optional phone number. Our survey used one AI credit and was promised in 5 to 10 minutes; it took more than 10 minutes, with several error messages from the hosting provider along the way, and a support chat window popped up while we waited. Building by hand was much quicker.

The editor is a long form with a menu for start screen, branding, questions or game settings, intermediate screens, end screen, settings, schedule and publishing. Question types (single choice, multiple choice, open text and NPS) can be switched without losing the answers, and quizzes support correct answers, result ranges and call-to-action buttons. The multilingual setting is a real plus. Design control is thin, though: two themes, a logo and a few font and button options, and the games and result screens look dated, closer to a 2015 website than to current interactive content. The sports games we tried were basic drag-to-kick games, and the 3D versions felt more awkward than the flat ones.

Two more points from our test. The embed code works on any website, and we found no way to restrict it to your own domains. And the integrations are easy to miss: they live in the account settings rather than in the game editor, so while building a game we saw no way to send its data to our own systems.

Pricing and plans

Drimify charges by participations per month, with unlimited experiences, workspaces and collaborators on every plan. Annual billing saves two months, prices exclude VAT, and the free plan needs no credit card. Prices checked October 28, 2026 on Drimify’s pricing page, which shows separate figures per currency (in euros: 197 and 697 a month).

  • Free: $0: 100 participations a month, 3 AI credits once, unlimited experiences, 90-day data retention and Drimify branding.
  • Starter: $220/month ($184/month billed annually): 1,000 participations a month, 3 AI credits a month, custom subdomain and 12 months of data retention.
  • Growth: $780/month ($650/month billed annually): 10,000 participations a month, 5 AI credits a month and priority support.
  • White label: An add-on on Starter and Growth that removes Drimify branding; with it, Starter costs $388/month ($324 billed annually) and Growth $1,003/month ($836 billed annually).
  • Enterprise: Custom pricing for high volumes, with white label, a dedicated customer success manager and a custom SLA.

Privacy and support

Drimify says its data processing agreement includes the GDPR and Standard Contractual Clauses for data transfers (source), but we found no statement on its legal, pricing or help pages about where data is hosted, and no ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certificate. Data is kept for 90 days on the free plan and for the most recent 12 months on paid plans. Support runs through a help center, video tutorials and in-app chat, with priority support on Growth and a dedicated success manager on Enterprise.

AI assistant and MCP access

Drimify does not offer an official MCP server, and we found no announcement of one. Its AI assistant only works inside the app and uses AI credits. Zapier and Pipedream list Drimify connectors that an AI assistant could use through their own services; they work with collected participant data and do not build or edit games. Checked October 28, 2026 (source).

API access

Drimify has a documented REST API, but it is read-only: two endpoints return participation records (form fields, the score, profile or prize, and technical fields), authenticated with an API key. It does not return each answer per question and cannot create or edit games. Webhooks to your own API, HubSpot and Salesforce, Zapier and Make cover the rest. Drimify does not state which plans include API access. Checked October 28, 2026 (API docs). Compare all 29 tools in our API overview and MCP overview.

What’s new in 2026

Recent product updates from Drimify, last checked October 28, 2026:

  • October 2026 pricing check: Drimify offers a free plan with 100 participations a month and an AI assistant, Drimify AI, that builds games and surveys from a short brief using AI credits; paid plans start at $220 a month, or $184 billed annually (source).

Final verdict

Drimify has breadth: scratch cards, wheels, advent calendars, sports games and quizzes, with lead forms, prizes, scheduling and multilingual versions in one tool. In our test, though, nothing stood out: the games felt unpolished, the design options are thin, the AI assistant was slow, and building a quiz felt old-fashioned rather than fun. At $184 a month for 1,000 participations, plus extra for removing the branding, Drimify earns 3.0/5; for quizzes and polished games compare Riddle, and for budget giveaways Woorise.
